We are building the financial operating layer behind the merchant
We started with the cash-event problem. The mission is larger: turn payment events into collections, contracts, invoices, AI, and operator action.
What we are
RemindLedger™ is a software company classified under NAICS 518210 — Data Processing and Hosting Services. We build a financial operations platform that is an Operative Finance platform — built on Invoice-On-Payment™ — covering collections, contracts, invoicing, AI, and cash visibility.
Software company
We build data processing tools. NAICS 518210.
Financial operations platform
We turn bank-confirmed cash events into collections, contracts, invoices, and control.
Verified bank data
We reconcile from secure read-only bank data with automatic matching built in.
RemindLedger was founded to solve the Zelle reconciliation gap in small business accounting — the missing bridge between an email notification and a marked-paid invoice. Invoice-On-Payment™ became the methodology that inverts the traditional AR flow so the fiscal invoice is only issued once the bank confirms the payment. From there, the product expanded toward a broader financial operating layer. RemindLedger is owned and operated by RemindLedger Inc.
The problem we solve
55 million+ Zelle transfers happen daily in the US
Zelle is now the dominant peer-to-peer payment method for small business transactions. But Zelle has no invoice reference field — payments arrive with only a name, amount, and optional memo.
No accounting software knows which Zelle pays which invoice
your accounting system, your accounting system, Wave — none automatically match a Zelle deposit to the correct open invoice. AR teams spend hours every week doing this manually.
RemindLedger is the bridge
We connect secure read-only bank data so incoming payments get matched to the right invoice faster.
What we are NOT
We want to be completely clear about this. Understanding what RemindLedger is not is as important as understanding what it is.
Not a debt collector
FDCPA does not apply to our service. We do not collect money on behalf of anyone. We do not contact consumers as a third-party collector. We send payment reminders from your business to your own customers.
Not a credit bureau
We do not report payment behavior to any credit bureau. We do not generate, score, or sell credit information about your customers.
Not a bank or payment processor
We are not a federally insured bank (FDIC), not a money services business (FinCEN), not a money transmitter under state law, and not a registered investment advisor. We do not hold, transmit, or facilitate the movement of funds at any point. All financial transactions occur directly between your customers and their financial institutions.
Not a collection agency
We do not contact customers on behalf of other businesses in a third-party capacity. Payment reminders are sent from your own business identity.
Service scope and regulatory positioning
RemindLedger Inc. is software-only. We do not custody customer funds, initiate payments, or hold accounts. We are:
- not a federally insured bank (FDIC),
- not a money services business (FinCEN),
- not a money transmitter under state law,
- not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. §1681),
- not a registered investment advisor.
Bank data is accessed via licensed open banking aggregators (such as regulated banking partners); those licensed providers perform all regulated activities. Payment processing, when used, is handled by FinCEN-registered Money Services Businesses holding merchant balances in FBO custodial accounts at FDIC-insured banking partners.
Our technology approach
Verified bank data, with fallback paths
We use secure read-only bank connections as the live source for reconciliation.
Privacy-preserving by design
Raw email bodies are discarded immediately after parsing. We retain only the structured fields needed for reconciliation: sender name, amount, date, reference. We never read the full content of your inbox — only emails matching known payment notification patterns are processed.
No password sharing
Customers keep paying the way they already do — Zelle, ACH, wire, or check. Businesses can connect securely without handing RemindLedger an online banking username or password.
Works with any accounting software
Import open invoices via CSV from your accounting system, your accounting system, Wave, your accounting system, or any software that can export a spreadsheet. Export reconciled payments back to CSV for import. No proprietary lock-in.
Compliance
Our business classification and operating practices reflect who we are and what we do.
NAICS 518210 — Data Processing and Hosting Services
This is our business classification. It is accurate and intentional. We are a data processing company, not a financial services company.
Read-only data access
Bank connections are read-only and limited to the fields needed for reconciliation.
No consumer data sold or shared
We do not sell, license, or share customer payment data with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to operate RemindLedger on your behalf.
